Praveena - A lively personality who brings in positive energy in all environments, and radiates illuminating knowledge when sharing.

Praveena is a public speaker with passion, whose foundation is in the faith: Sanatana Dharmam. Her learning goes deep and it is her firm belief that one needs to be strongly rooted to go global and hence drives “Go Native to Go Global”.

The Corporate Face:

​

Praveena started her career as a software professional. Starting as a programmer, her passion to teaching and sharing moved her up to becoming an adjunct faculty at National University of Singapore and then as a Corporate Trainer in a multinational Telecom Billing Software firm. This role took her to travel across continents.

​

In her own words “I moved from talking to computers to talking to people”.

​

The entrepreneur in her set up a management consulting firm pioneering a new concept “Business Psychology” successfully. In this venture, Praveena delivered engagements that demonstrated measurable impacts to her client organisations across South East Asia.

​

Currently, Praveena is the Strategic Advisor to the CEO of a growing enterprise in Interior Design in Bharatham.

​

The Spiritual Face

​

Beyond all her corporate achievements, Praveena feels her primary calling is to go deeper into Sanatana Dharmam.

​

Sanatana Dharmam – eternal way of life – is the root. The knowledge wealth provided by Sanatana Dharmam is in abundance and one that keeps growing. Praveena spends time in learning and knowledge sharing on various aspects of Sanatana Dharmam, across science, mathematics, literature, poetry, healthcare, ecology, devotion and so on.

Understanding that the learning of Samskrutam as a language is key to continuous learning of Sanatana Dharmam, she has also focused on strengthening her knowledge of the Deva Basha Samskrutam.

​

The Linguistic Face

​

After learning the basics of Samskrutam at a young age while in school, Praveena embarked on enhancing her expertise in Samskrutam through Samskrita Bharati (www.samskritabharati.in) and continues to the flourishing and nourishing of the language through teaching Samskrutam to people.

The Vaishnavite Face

​

Being from the lineage belonging to Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja sampradayam of Sri Vaishnavism, Praveena was, and is, exposed to listening to the Acharyas and pandits speak giving her the ruchi - taste - of the Sampradayam. 

The constant learner in her made her to study deeper; reach out to Acharyas and pandits seeking knowledge; clarify questions thus strengthening her understanding of the concepts - in all enabling her to share knowledge effectively with people at large.

Praveena is blessed to be the disciple of His Holiness Sri Narayana Yatheendhra Mahadesikan, the 45th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt.

Today, Praveena juggles her time between Singapore and Bharatham contributing actively across all her interests through public discourses, television talks, sessions and classes on Samskrutam, Sanatana Dharmam, Corporate education and so on.
