Sampradayam
Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja's Visistadvaitam
Sampradayam
The Vedas are the foundation of sanatana dharma and this is in Samskritam. As sanatana dharma defines the way of life, various Acharyas have provided the path to reach Bhagavan based on the Vedas.
The Four Vedas are:
Rig Veda
Yajur Veda
Saama Veda
Atharva Veda
The Vedas are an ocean in terms of volume and precious in terms of value and in practice eternally.
Many learned Sages and blessed Rishis have spent entire lifetime and still said, what they have learnt is tip of the iceberg.
Maharishi Shri Veda Vyasa has been blessed with divine powers where the Maharishi could classify the Chatur (Four) Vedas accordingly and present it for the well being for all of us.
We are blessed to have great Acharyas who have the divine powers to read, assimilate and articulate for our learning. Sampradayam is a term that defines the Vedic tradition of worship has been grouped into 6 by our Acharyas. The shan-matham OR six sampradayams are:
Saivam sampradayam based on worship of Shiva Perumaan
Vaishnavam sampradayam based on worship of Sriman Narayana
Shaaktham sampradayam based on worship of Shakthi
Gaanapathyam sampradayam based on worship of Ganesha
Koumaaram sampradayam based on worship of Muruga
Sowryam sampradayam based on worship of Surya (Sun)
Enormous amount of works are available on great Acharyas across shan-matham across on literary formats of prose, poetry and plays.
The 45th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt
